This luxury accommodation lodge is a huge 5500 sq. ft. Alpine Ski Lodge set in its own grounds in an enviable central highland location, where there is ample private parking onsite. The lodge itself is full of ‘media toys’ that will keep everyone entertained – whether a large family getaway, corporate event or wedding. Complemented with Free Wi-Fi throughout, the lodge benefits from Smart TV’s, SONOS Streaming Music System, Spotify and Netflix. The property benefits from a wonderfully spacious lounge (27 x 12 metres long) perfect for large groups to be together, featuring a bespoke red cedar wood table seating 25 people in comfort, and a wonderful hand carved wood bar area with seating. Three log stoves (logs provided) including one huge double glass stove in the centre of the lounge.

Outdoor entertainment is all part of the lodge too with a hot tub (bathrobes and slippers provided), large secure garden area and family decking, while continuing inside a Spa Suite comprising of a Sauna, 4 Person Jacuzzi Bath and a rain shower.

Trout fishing at local loch including boats (must be pre-booked – price on request). Freeview in all rooms. Large Selection of DVDs. Chess, Draughts and Card Games provided. Pets are very welcome at Big Husky Lodge (£35 additional charge per pet). All crockery, pots, pans glassware, bed linen and towels provided. The Big Husky Lodge is centred around the best possible experience for our guests. Bringing together all the essential and fun elements of a party lodge, while simultaneously creating an accommodation that is the perfect, intimate setting for family getaways and weddings.

The Grey Man’s Inn is relaxing bar area of the Big Husky Lodge based on the legend of The Big Grey Man of MacDhui. Known locally for decades in Aviemore, it entered popular folklore when Professor Normal Collie reported his experiences of Fearlas Mor (as the Big Grey Man is known locally) while on a trip to New Zealand in 1889.

The Grey Man’s Inn is central to the lodge and equally to any event. Whether downing shots at the bar with friends, or relaxing with family telling tales of days gone by – The Grey Man’s Inn holds many stories in its old polished oak.
