Situated just outside Aviemore in the village of Carrbridge, the Landmark Centre is perfect for a full day of fun and adventure for the whole family. You can wander through the Dinosaur Kingdom with 22 realistic, life sized dinosaurs, or for a ‘less terrifying’ experience take a stroll through the Tropical House. An enchanting Bio-Dome with beautiful butterflies, parakeets and exotic flowers. There are also water slides, Tarzan trails, shooting galleries, runaway train and the amazing Forest Tower – 105 steps to the top to be greeted by a jaw-dropping 360 degree panoramic view of the Cairngorm Mountains and surrounding Highland area.
Aviemore is nestled perfectly within the Cairngorms National Park and is home to some unique wildlife, incredible lochs, ancient forests, mountain trails and winter-sports. Wonderful wildlife can be seen in the nature reserves within the National Park; from Ospreys nesting and fishing in the lochs, to Golden Eagles soaring majestically above.
For large groups looking for adventure, Aviemore has thrills galore to enjoy. White water rafting is a popular favourite for stag and hen parties, or push yourself further with gorge swimming, river tubing and white water tubing. If you prefer to stay dry, get even with your friends with some paintballing, lasertag and archery.
